Buying Equipment

Register

In order to use the site you need to register. It's easy and FREE for standard membership.

Simply click on the Register link at the top of any page and complete the registration form.

Please note: You will be asked to provide a valid email address and password, preferably one that you do not use on other internet sites.

Once you've completed the form you will receive a confirmation email from Instrumentresponse to the email address you submitted during the registration process. Simply follow the instructions to complete your registration.

Search

There are a number of ways to find what you're looking for on Instrumentresponse

Browsing: If you want to see what Instrumentresponse has to offer, Browse the categories listed on each page. Click on the category you are interested in.

Searching: If you're looking for something specific the simplest way to find it is to Search. Type keywords into the search box that best describe what you are looking for or select advanced search for further search options.

Manufacturer Search. If you're looking for an item from a specific manufacturer then you can click on the manufacturer search. All items on offer from that manufacturer will be displayed. To narrow down the search, select a Matching Category.

Quotation request. If you do not find the item that you are looking for click on the quotation request button. A page will be displayed to enter details of the equipment you require. Instrument Response Limited will then locate the product on your behalf and forward a quotation to you.

Check the item

Once you find an item click on it to view details and check the grade to find out as much as you can. (More details of Grade Classification can be found here). If you require further information on the item please contact us and we will contact the vendor on your behalf.

Read the item description completely. For information about accepted payment methods, postage costs and any returns policy please read our FAQ's.

Selecting an item to buy

To purchase a selected item simply click on the BUY NOW button this will take you to the pre-checkout stage where you should follow the on-screen instructions.

Pre-Checkout

No payment request will be issued at this point.

You will be asked to complete the following information:

    1. Enter your 'Billing Address'.

    2. Enter your 'Delivery Address'.

    3. Select the level of in_transit Insurance.

Checkout

Once you have reviewed your order, press continue and dependant on your selected payment method, you will be directed to:

       a) Secure online payment leading to a printable order receipt or

       b) Printable order invoice to forward with cheque payment.

Receiving goods

Once the item arrives, check it thoroughly to make sure it fits the item description and has arrived in good condition. If you are pleased with your purchase you need do nothing. If the goods are not to your satisfaction then please contact us within 5 working days (for further details on receipt of goods please refer to our FAQ's)
