VEGABAR S 14 PRESSURE TRANSMITTER

Function: The dry, ceramic measuring cell CERTEC® is used in VEGABAR S 14. The complete measuring cell consists of high purity ceramic and is characterised, by both excellent long term stability and very high overload resistance. The process pressure causes a deflection of the ceramic diaphragm and in turn a capacitance change in the measuring cell. This change is converted into a standard 4 20 mA signal.

Application: VEGABAR S 14 is a pressure transmitter for measurement of gauge pressure, absolute pressure or vacuum. It can be used to measure gases, vapours and liquids. The main application areas are machine building, plant and facilities engineering as well as simple process level measurements of free flowing liquids. It can be teamed up with VEGAMET 381 which can provide power, a calibrated output, a display, 2 relay switch points and fault relay.
