VEGASWING S 52

Function: The tuning fork is energized by a piezo crystal and it vibrates at its resonant frequency. A second crystal detects this frequency, if the VEGASWING tuning fork is covered by liquid, the frequency change is detected by the integral electronics and converted into a switch signal. The switching condition is visible from outside via a two-colour LED. No special adjustments are required to set up VEGASWING S 52.

Application: VEGASWING S 52 is used as a level switch for liquids in the food and pharmaceutical industries. It detects reliably, with millimetre precision, when a certain level is reached. It can be mounted in any position in vessels and pipelines.

The instrument can be implemented as full and empty detector. The high surface quality (Ra < 0.8 µm) in conjunction with special process fittings ensures optimum cleanability in hygienic applications. Typical applications are for foods, beverages and pharmacueticals, e.g. vegetable oil, fruit juice, milk or pharma liquids.
